At Glenglassaugh, in addition to the traditional production, we also produce a very limited quantity of whisky using richly peated malted barley as the cereal varietal. The malted barley has been dried in the traditional way, over peat infused kilns, giving the whisky its unique smoky flavour. Glenglassaugh 'Torfa', with its peaty, phenolic nature, is a unique expression, and is quite different to the usual style of whisky produced in the Highlands.

It's light character is born from its distillation in some of Scotland's largest stills; matured for 12 years, the result is a light, floral whisky with a fresh, creamy taste. Glenmorangie Original 12 Years Old is Glenmorangie's signature whisky reimagined, to make it more delicious than ever. Aged for a further two years, it is even smoother, creamier and more luscious than The Original 10YO. And so, this whisky catapults The Original's much-loved notes of orange, honey, vanilla and peach to a new pinnacle of flavour. The extra contact the whisky has with the wood, brings additional mellowness and depth to the whisky.

Dr Bill, Glenmorangie's Director of Whisky Creation, was born with a taste for adventure. And with this single malt he sought to create a whisky as unpredictable as his travels. Quinta Ruban is a whisky journey into the wild - a dark and delectable forest where the wind whistles with gusts of peppermint and dark swirls of chocolate can happen at any moment. In their giraffe-high stills, it begins soft and fruity, then gets darker and deeper as they let it age for 14 years in bourbon casks and port casks from Portugal. No less than 15 years later, they transfer a portion into Oloroso sherry casks for three more years. Once 18 years have passed, Glenmorangie reunite them to create its warm balance of sweet, floral lushness.
