The wine shows a complex interplay of tropical fruit characters with elements of passion-fruit, mango and paw paw, supported by impressions of ripe gooseberries and dried herbs. It is fruity and mouth filling but yet has a refreshing spine of crisp acidity which keeps it focussed and helps draw out its length.

Dreadnought Syrah is very classical in style, lifted red fruits with a dark edge of graphite and pepper along with savoury stem derived characters make for an intense and interesting aroma profile. The palate is very linear but vibrant carrying good weight and concentration but also a lively streak from the stem inclusion that makes the finish seem fresh and lithe.

Man O' War Island Blend is a Bordeaux style wine and is a blend of fruit from both Waiheke Island and its neighbouring Ponui Island. The blend is predominantly Cabernet Franc from their Paradise vineyard on Ponui Island with Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot coming from sites nestled in the sheltered valleys of Eastern Waiheke Island. Rich, ripe wine with sweet red berry fruit framed by chocolate and spice. The palate is softly textured with fine ripe tannins making for a decadent expression of a Cabernet Franc dominated blend.

Man O' War Chardonnay exhibits intense ripe stone fruit characters with subtle hints of toasty French oak and a lovely nutty lees influence.

Crisp and clean this is our most successful vintage of Sauvignon blanc and is perfectly suited to the local Te Matuku Oysters which are farmed close to Man O' War, or similarly the abundant seafood that thrive in the surrounding coastal waters.

Pinot gris for the Exiled comes from the St Helena clone of Pinot gris and is grown on both Waiheke and Ponui Islands. The wines are chilled to below zero to stop the fermentation before blending, the blend is held at low temperatures in the cellar until bottling to retain as much of the natural carbon dioxide as possible.

Our Pinque Rose wine is remarkably consistent year on year and the 2019 is no different. Pale salmon in colour with fresh and inviting red berry characters matching a clean, crisp and fresh palate. The 2019 Pinque is a perfect all season aperitif or served as a refreshing taste of summer!

The King's Wrath Pinot Noir reveals rich aromas of black doris plum, cassis, florals, and clove spices. The full-bodied palate features fine-grained tannins, complemented by crushed blackberry, dark chocolate, and savoury notes. The tannin structure carries the vibrant Marlborough fruit flavours to a long, intense finish. This wine pairs beautifully with game meats, mushrooms, rich fish, or hearty vegetable dishes.

This Sauvignon Blanc is crisp on the tongue. Zesty gooseberry flavours balanced with acidity and well rounded subtle floral notes leaves you wanting more.

Citrus blossom, floral and orange zest notes on the nose. Palate has lime, stone fruit and honeysuckle flavours with nice acidity.

Aromas of ripe melon and peach abound with butterscotch and fig notes. The palate is rich, with ripe fruits, showcasing peach flavours and an inherent creaminess, and a lingering bright finish.

This full-bodied wine is packed with fruity notes, earthy undertones and soft tannin. Brooding, complex nose with hints of plums and blackberries. On the palate light mocha and rich full berry flavours. The wine has good concentration with a smooth finish. Enjoy with meat, cheese platter or tapas.
