The Taste Collection is a celebration of the generous and distinct flavours that have made Selaks wines so extraordinary and sought after for more than 90 years. Buttery Chardonnay, smooth, creamy and simply melts in your mouth. The beautifully integrated toasty oak results in flavours of brioche and vanilla, while still enabling the delightful ripe stone fruit characters to shine through.

Vibrant green in colour, the nose is fresh with lime juice cordial, white peach and hints of subtle creamy French oak. The palate is crisp and fresh, lime and honey dew melon linger, intertwined with well integrated oak and defined acidity that gives structure and length.

A snout-smackingly good, weighty and crisp Chardonnay, with flavours of citrus, nectarine and pineapple and a lovely toasty finish.

Stables Chardonnay has a textured palate with ripe citrus, stone fruit and toasty oak.

Latitude wines are crafted from grapes sourced from the 'Golden Mile'; a strip of land covered with ancient sunstones and highly regarded for its outstanding grape-growing conditions. Latitude Chardonnay exhibits ripe stone fruit aromas with delightful complex characters of flint and smokiness on the nose. This flows through to a rich and creamy palate with ripe peach, caramel and notes of brioche, supported by toasty rich and creamy palate, exhibiting great intensity. A delightful Chardonnay with fruit purity, vibrant acidity and flinty accents on the finish.

In Stoneleigh's Marlborough vineyards, sunstones absorb sunshine during the day, radiating heat onto the vines at night, resulting in their distinctly vibrant wines. Stoneleigh Classic Chardonnay displays ripe stonefruit and pear aromas with hints of toasty oak.

The wine has delightful aromas of white peach, nectarines and subtle citrus zest join hints of cashew and cream. Fresh flavours of stone fruit combine with cashews and an underlying toastiness from the barrel fermentation to deliver a mouth-filling, enjoyable wine. It has a clean, elegant palate, a zesty acid backbone and long, persistent finish. A small portion of this wine was barrel fermented and then lees stirred for 4 months. After 6 - 8 months maturation in French oak, the wine was blended and bottled.

Sourced exclusively from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards. This Estate Vineyards Chardonnay was harvested from Bridge Pa Triangle, Woodthorpe Terraces and Havelock Hills vineyards. White gold in the glass, immediate refreshing appeal of ripe nectarine and lemon sorbet edged with sea-salt, roast almond and a hint of smoke from French oak. Delicious on its own, or a wonderful partner for both simply prepared and fuller flavoured seafood and white meat dishes.

A full bodied, rich style of Chardonnay which is classic of the Gisborne region. This wine displays fruit driven aromas of apricot and melon, a textural palate balanced with buttery notes, and rounded off with toasty oak characteristics.

The Ned Chardonnay - A fruit driven Chardonnay with white nectarine and loquat aromas elevated by notes of vanilla, cinnamon and lightly toasted brioche. The palate is plush and creamy from the near full malolactic conversion, swathed in warm French oak spice with fine acid tension on the finish.

This Nelson Chardonnay displays aromas of lemon zest, ripe nectarine and subtle flinty, mineral notes from use of French oak. On the palate flavours of white peach, bright citrus and notes of toasted hazelnut take this medium bodied and elegantly textured wine to a lusciously long and persistent finish.
